The Tree Lighting Ceremony and Holiday Parade of Lights in Gridley will take place on November 30, 2016. Bring the whole family for music, shopping, and holiday fun at this outdoor community festival.

The Tree Lighting Ceremony starts at 5:00 PM at Orchard Hospital on Spruce Street. Join in the holiday celebration with live music and refreshments as the historic redwood is decorated and lit for the season. The Gridley High School Band and GHS Choir will be performing.

Join the GHS Choir as they carol into downtown Gridley!

The Sutter Buttes Family Orchestra will be performing Holiday favorites for your enjoyment.

Holiday vendors will be on Kentucky Street from 5PM-9PM. This year will offer more shopping, food, and networking  opportunities than ever. All vendor spaces are now full.

The Parade is now in its 15th year! Parade begins at 7:00 PM in downtown Gridley, California, with the Gridley Museum’s own RuthAnne King as Grand Marshall. The theme for this year is Winter Wonderland. Individuals and groups are welcome to join the parade. A shout out to Gridley Lions Club for their many years of handling the lineup, start up, and procession for the Holiday Parade of Lights.

Kid’s Coloring Contest

First place pre-school school child gets to ride in the firetruck with SANTA during the parade, and First place elementary school school child gets to ride along in a police vehicle during the parade.
