Hard to believe that 2017 is almost upon us. Annual dues for the Chamber of Commerce 2017 memberships begin January 1st, 2017. Watch your mail for an application, or contact us to join or renew. For your convenience, the application is available online, here: membership application. You’ll be listed in our Business Directory, online and in print. We’ll also like your Facebook page and promote select events for your business or organization. Individuals are also welcome to join the Chamber and support our local communities. We serve southern Butte County and Northern Sutter county.

NoRCAL Apple CRUNCH –Celebrate National Food Day October 26

Please join us on October 26th when the City of Gridley and Gridley Area Chamber shows support of National Food Day in helping our environment become a “greener” and healthier place by planting an apple tree in Downtown.

Activities from 2PM to 4PM:

  • TREE DEDICATION at 2:30PM in front of the Chamber Office, 890 Hazel Street, downtown Gridley.
  • Games/prizes for the kids
  • Planting demonstrations
  • Food Demonstrations/Tasting
  • FUN Music and Selfie Booth*

Gridley Tree Lighting Ceremony and Holiday Parade of Lights

November 30, 2016 from 5:00-9:00 PM

Bring the whole family for music, shopping, and holiday fun at this outdoor community festival.

The Tree Lighting Ceremony starts at 5:00 PM at Orchard Hospital on Spruce Street. Join in the holiday celebration with live music and refreshments as the historic redwood is decorated and lit for the season.

Holiday vendors will be on Kentucky Street from 5PM-9PM. This year will offer more shopping, food, and networking  opportunities than ever. If you’d like to reserve a booth for your business or organization, please print and mail in the vendor application along with your payment.

The Parade is now in its 15th year! Parade begins at 7:00 PM in downtown Gridley, California. The theme for this year is Winter Wonderland. Individuals and groups are welcome to join the parade. Make sure to get your parade entry application and fee in early, as we expect a great turnout for the festivities this year!

Biggs Christmas in the Park

December 3, 2016 from 5:00 – 8:00 PM

Please join us at our annual Christmas tree lighting in Biggs! The downtown area of B Street will be closed for the evening, so there is plenty of room to roam! Vendors, strolling carolers, a new winter wonderland display in the park, as well as other fabulous new activities! Oh, and don’t forget a visit from Santa!

This is a rain or shine event, so please dress warm!

Daddow Park Brick & Bench Project

Dedicate a brick to someone for the Daddow Park renovation in Gridley. Bricks are $35 each. There are 3 lines with 20 characters per line. You may choose brown, grey or brick color. Brick Forms available at the Chamber office or here online: Brick form

Memorial benches are $1000. Please call 530-846-3142 for more information on benches or bricks.
