Annual dues for the Chamber of Commerce 2017 memberships began January 1st, 2017. Watch your mail for an application, or contact us to join or renew. For your convenience, the application is available online, here: membership form. You’ll be listed in our Business Directory, online and in print. We’ll also like your Facebook page and promote select events for your business or organization. Individuals are also welcome to join the Chamber and support our local communities. Memorial Bricks to be placed in Daddow Park are available for ordering until March 15, 2017, at the Chamber office, 890 Hazel Street in the Hazel Hotel. Bricks are $35 and make a great gift for that special someone with three lines available for message and/or names. HWY 99 IMPROVEMENTS, GRIDLEY
The project team is working with stakeholders and community members to further define and add to this list of project goals:
The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) – in partnership with the City of Gridley – is planning to improve accessibility and safety along the Highway 99 corridor through Gridley. We have heard from many community members about what you want for the future of HWY 99. Now, we hope to share potential project options and hear about your specific preferences for improvements.
Women of the Moose Wine Tasting
The annual Larry Pearson Memorial Wine Tasting & Silent Auction honoring past member Angelo Gueglio will be held at the Moose Lodge on Highway 99 in Gridley. Thursday, March 9, 2017, 6-9 PM. This is a scholarship fundraiser.
Saturday, March 11, 2-4 PM
An elegant spring Tea features sweet and savory delicacies all lovingly prepared by the ladies of FOCUS. Menu items include black and green tea, scones with Devonshire cream and lemon curd, assorted savory sandwiches and sweets. Children are encouraged at the Tea, and they will be given the opportunity to partake. Seating is limited. We suggest you reserve your place now. Admission will be by reservation, and the cost will be $25.00/adult and $15.00/child (12 yrs. and under). Table settings will be for 8 guests, so you may want to reserve your own table for you and your guests. Prizes will be awarded to the adult and child with the nicest hats!
